Chris again. I'm getting very close, I think...

Hi guys! Long time, no see. Right now, I'm enjoying the last precious hours of my springbreak - which, by the way, didn't really turn out how I would have wanted it to be. I was basically ill all af the days. In the weekend, however, I defied my illnes and went out on both Saturday and Sunday; which have caused that I don't really have any voice now - which is not really good considering the fact that I'm starting out with 8 hours of school tomorrow. So, hahaha, I guess that I should take that as a lesson.

I'm working on the sims which I'm going to upload soon (hopefully). My only problem is (except the fact that I'm veeeeery lazy) that I tend to edit my sims all the time which is why you very seldomly see some of my sims more than once. Well this is because the sim is probably altered beyond of all recognition in CAS. The reason why is simply that when I'm satisfied with a sim it only lasts for a very short time. Hopefully some of my sims can last my satisfaction for enough time to be up for download one day. So, If there's any sim of my that you love, please say it! Then I won't enter him/her in CAS anymore - or at least until he/her is up for download, haha.

I hope that all of you enjoyed your last day of 2012 and have had a nice start of 2013! I have myself :) New years eve went great! I wouldn't have expected it to turn out any better :) Thursday, my school started again so now I'm probably getting quite busy again. Were having a big project in a couple of weeks called SRO and I'm a little worried about it - not so much the writing part but the part where we're going justify our assignment with words in front of our teachers. I'm really bad at that. Actually, anything school related where I have to use my voice, I hate and mostly fail at. 

So at the picture you'll see an attempt of mine to make an alien looking sim. I made the eyes inspired of Mouseyblue's alien eyes for sims 2. When I'm done, I'm considering to upload them (along with some other stuff that I'm working on) to the monthly theme on GoS which is "Science Fiction" :) What do you think? I know you can still see the iris of the defaults. I don't really have any idea why but I would try to fix that anyway.

What I've been up to.

These past months have gone really fast. I cant believe that I'm already more than halfway through my first year. Right now I'm relaxing and enjoying my winter holidays. On Wednesday, me and some of my friends are going to Berlin. I've never traveled without any adults before so I'm very exited about it! I'm considering bringing the sims, but I probably wouldn't get any time to play :) So, from Wednesday till Tuesday the blog won't be updated. But I guess that you've got used not to expect updates often from here anyway, hahaha

Tonight, I'll show you two female sims - the first ones that I have created in a couple of months. I think that I have to get into training with creating boys. They didn't get very great any of them...

I think I'm going to make a tumblr soon. So that this page will be more serious posts and downloads and the tumblr will be just for random photos that I've taken. What do you think of the idea?

Changing

I've really loved my life lately. Going in gymnasium is a whole new way of living! (or sort of). I consantly meet new and interresting people, and my class is simply amazing! Tonight I'm going out with two of my new classmates to hear a danish rapper called Kidd. He's kind of silly, but in the good way.


I recently bought a long time wanted macbook, and I've started to fill it up with a lot of music. So I was searching on all kinds of music to get some idea's and become inspired, and then I came across a song by an artist, who I have heard about, but never heard any music from. And I really liked it! She's danish, and her name is Emma Acs.

And here's another sim. She ended up looking quite much like Flora. So I thought of making them sisters.

This time

There's something wrong with me... its 1 AM, and I'm not tired at all. Fortunately, my first module at school tomorrow is canceled,  which means that I can sleep for two hours longer. So tecnically the clock is only 11 PM.


Well, this time I actually have an excuse for my lack of sim related updates. For many days my game haven't worked. It crashed once I opened it, and I have been using a lot of time trying to find the problem. But suddently it just works fine again. My game acts very weird sometimes.


Since I've just got my game to work again this evening, I only have a small update. A brand new sim called Ulrik and an older sim called Ask, who I posted in GoS a while ago.
















I'm still into uploading the two of my latest female sims. But I really can't tell you when. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week.. I don't know.



I'd better go to bed now.. my english is even more horrible than it usually is

I know... I've been a horrible updater currently, and It will probably continue that way in a long time (at least until the fall vacation), but you may not believe, that I've lost the interest in sims, cause I haven't!! I'm just busy with homeworks, social life and all those everyday stuff, that I didn't have to do in the summer vacation.


Tonight, I'm going to a classical concert with Yundi Li, whom I've admired in a very long time. He is a classical pianist and he is known for be the youngest person who have ever won the International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition, at the age of 18! And Chopin is my absolute favorite pianist, so this can't be any better.


Here's my newest sim Mona. I think I will upload her together with Flora, as people seemed to like her quite much. I hope you like Mona too. :)



by the way, she's not wearing the right clothes, because she was all blurry and ugly in game wearing it. So, I'm afraid that I have to change the everyday clothes. It just fitted her so well.

Excitement

I'm so sorry for not updating in a long time. The last 5 days (except from today) has been some of the greatest days of my life - and most exhausting as well. If anyone didn't read it in my last post, then I've begun in gymnasium - it's something similar to high school, I guess, but the school system in Denmark is very different from many other countries, so it's quite hard to compare. 


Well, it all began at Wednesday where we all had to go through a gate covered with balloons and flags, while the older students was applauding us. Then we played lot of different games to get to know each other better. We also learned the Lanciers and three very different kinds of songs (which turned out surprisingly good, when we performed it on friday in front of the whole school). Thursday was even more crazy! The girls was playing games against the older boys at the school and so was the boys with the older girls. It was quite wild. On friday we finally met our class, and my class turned out to be fantastic! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, where the real school begins and we can get to know each other better.


Inspired by all the pretty people on the school, I created this sim, Carl Julius Engells.

And Cillian Murphy must wait. I failed... again. 

Dump 01

I edited Cillian Murphy today... and it went so well - until my game decided to crash. God, sometimes I hate that HQ mod. It crashes my games on the most unfortunate times sometimes. But I think, that I will try to recreate what I remember on him to night.


My school begins on Wednesday, which means that there probably will be fewer updates. But I wont forget the blog! As for the school, I'm really looking forward to begin. I'm going to meet hundreds of new people, and probably a lot with the same interests as me. I'm beginning in the music class, because I'm very fond of playing music. And it has become a very big part of me through the years. I play classical piano on a reasonable high level, I guess. Not something professional at all though. Right now it's just fun, and hopefully it will evolve over the next three years.


The next update will probably be something with my Cillian Murphy sim, as I really feel like creating on him right now, but until then I will show you some of my latest sims, August Juul, Dorian Gray (both for the GoS August theme challange) and Flora Mörch.

Unholy

New sim in progress. Is entering with him in the GoS August Challange with the prompt Unholy. Guess who he is. I forgot, that I had written his name on the picture... fail

And here's my other entry. I decided to make a new one with the prompt Paranoid. I found the making of Raskolnikov to hard, haha

Don't know

Another one. This sim is Anders Franck. I cannot decide if I like him or not. There's just something about him, that bother me, but I can't find out what. Maybe it's the hair or the mouth. I don't know. 
Originally, I planned, that Raskolnikov (see the previous post) was going to wear that cap, but I dropped it after adjusting with the sliders for half an hour or something. So Anders got it instead.

And with the same smiling pose, that I used for Raskolnikovs 'insane' smile

Rodion v.1

One of my favorite characters of all time is Fyodor Dostoyevsky's Rodion Raskolnikov. He's hot, he's insane, he's russian and he doesn't exist. Then it can't become any better. It is my first try on making him, and I'm sure, that my idea of his look will change, as it has changed a lot since I read Crime And Punishment for the first time. But for now I'm allmost satisfied. I just need to get the perfect insane smile on him. I would wish, that there was an "insane smiles pose pack". Originally, I made him for the Theme Challange on GoS under the prompt "Paranoid", because that is the perfect word to describe him after the murder. But I don't think the pictures tells enough about him. So maybe I will add more scenary and motion in the pictures, that I'm going to enter with. But notice the yellow tapestry!

And this was the most 'paranoid' smile I got... fail

And I would also say thank you to all of you who read and follow my blog (: Without you I definitely wouldn't be half as enthusiastic with the blog as I am now! I just wanted you to know that.

A long way to go

So I tried to create Vinnie Who in sims 3, which.... didn't went so well. But trust me! I will not give op. I just have to get more facial sliders. 


But as I has just given op on the lovely Niels (Vinnie Who), I came to think of something else who i really love. Cillian Murphy. He is so gorgeous AND he's a good actor as well. I think many of you may know him from Inception.


Well, he's not finished at all, but I belive that I'm on the right track. And I really hope that it will succes, because I've never managed to create a celebrity sim, that looked exactly like the real one.

And for you, who don't know who I'm talking about:

Things to change: a new skintone, new eyes contacts, his cheekbones, the upper lips, eyebrows (!!!), and maybe hair, if I find something better, but for now I think, that this medieval hairstyle is okay.


Im going to live at my dad's for the next couple of days, which means that I won't be able to update. Just so you don't think that I have lost interest. I will never do that! Not in the near future at least.

Made a boyfriend for my sim Morten (the guy in the last post). Meet Leo, the fashionable and hot-headed partner to Morten. In my opinion they fit perfectly together. They even look quite like eachother (but that's probably just my very limited ways of making sims)









I might be uploading one or both of them, but not tonight. My Sims game has runned the whole day, and I think my computer needs some rest.

From Venus

I saw a documtary about the planet Venus a couple of days ago. And it really fascinated me. Billions of years ago, the planet looked exact the same as the earth, but because of an extreme global warming (i think it was), the planet was turned into the planet it is today. So it's fascinating (and also really frightening) to think, that the earth might get the same destiny. Today I tried to create something likely Venus in sims 3, and with a little help from photoshop I think that it turned out pretty well. My vision  of the pictures was to make it a kind of 'editorial', because I might enter the 'Behind The Fashion Lens Challange' at SF Magazines website with the first photo.








I know, the second picture has not a lot to do with the topic, but I blended two head shots together and thought that it looked cool. And then I added som lava to get the dynamic atmosphere.

Ferdinand

A new sim called Ferdinand Karlsson. I don'r really remember his traits, exept that he was a good kisser.
I liked him better in cas, because his nose nostril is doing weird in game. It has something to do with the light i guess.

Im thinking of uploading him. I just have to make a custom content list and a CAS photo. 

Stories and films

I have in a really long time wanted to create a sims machinima, because it's an another and much more interesting way to express your creativity through the Sims 3 than just showing pictures. And as I don't create custom content, creating movies would be a perfect alternative for me. And trust me - I have tried a million times, but when it comes to filming i always fail at it and forget about it. So my machinima carrier havent quite successed yet. But it will!! Some day.. far away from here.

Anyways, I've recently got an idea for a new plot, and thanks for my naivity to believe that it would succeed this time, I immediately began to create the main characters.

Aske. A neat and virtous guy, who prefer spending his time alone. He has always had some problems with his way of being social, and it has only got worse through the years. But his tall and hansome look has made him a very promising modelling carrier, so thats probably the only thing that still keeps him going.

Freja, who is Aske's sister. They were both adopted, so they are not biologically siblings, but 

their relationship has always been close. She is, as opposed to his brother, very outgoing. 

She is basically the perfect picture of the sweet girl next door. 

Im really satisfied with them. Maybe my dreams will succeed this time..
